I build the parts other software depends on.

Authentication, identity, and the libraries other teams build on, by day, for a top-5 US bank. After hours, on my own: AI workflows for teams putting agents to work, and websites for local business.

Day job and after hours

Years spent making critical systems boring and reliable.

By day I am a senior engineer at a top-5 US bank, working on authentication, identity, and API-gateway integration: OAuth 2.0 and PKCE, Apigee, PingFederate. It is exacting, unglamorous work, which is the point. Money and identity do not get to be flaky.

After hours I build my own things. Arbiter is an open-source gateway that puts auth and governance in front of AI agents and their tool calls. Engram is an orchestration daemon I run at home. They are how I keep my hands on the newest layer of the stack, on my own time.

That is the whole idea: someone who has spent years making critical systems boring and reliable, doing the same for the AI features and the small-business sites that people actually depend on.
